Dublin photographer Fran Veale has shot a set of portraits of dogs showing off the latest in canine couture. The photos are of dogs that Fran spotted in the street and asked owners if he could shoot them. Above are Joker (left) and Ross. Picture: Fran Veale / Rex Features

Brian Cassey/Rex Features: Dogs are pushed in prams in Sai Kung, Hong Kong. Sundays see locals promenading their precious pooches in prams along the waterfront bejewelled collars, dainty outfits and dyed fur - the competion to have the best looking pet is fierce. Sai Kung is awash with dog boutiques and even a doggy bakery where you can buy individual doggy pies (that’s pies for dogs, not pies containing dog, of course).
